School of Mechanical & Mining Engineering

To celebrate the QLD Mental Health Week engineering students are invited to take time for their mental health. There will be yoga and meditation activities, Safe Space for chats with Mental Health Champions and some ideas for self-care to take with you. Undergraduate, Postgraduate and HDR students are welcome to attend.

Free coffee vouchers will be given away to yoga participants and a lucky draw prize will be drawn for a $100 voucher for activities with Riverlife

You need to bring a mat or towel for yoga activity. Some rugs will be available (up to 10 people). We aim to start yoga class at around 10.30am and finish up with a meditation at around 11am.

As there is limited number of free coffee vouchers, you must register for this event - see registration tab. Pick up your coffee from the Lakeside Cafe.

Lucky draw prize ($100 voucher for Riverlife activities) - 11.30am

After the event please stay for the UQ Life "Let's Tacobout it" live experience panel where free tacos will be served. You must register for this event via this page.
